She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Unverferth and Loretta Unverferth (Quinn); her son Ron (Kahle, Jr.); her siblings, Urban Unverferth (Helen), Toots Smith (Smitty), Virgil Unverferth (Virginia), Richard Unverferth (Gladys), Jiggs Unverferth (Helen) and Mary Edith Winkle (Kenny); and her brothers-in-law, Bob Horstman and Herk Selhorst.

She is survived by: her husband Ron Kahle, Sr.; her children, Linda Remlinger of Kalida, Bruce Kahle (Linda) of Kalida and Sheryl Krouse (Steve) of Kalida; her sisters, Ruth Ann Horstman of Cloverdale and Julie Selhorst of Kalida; and her friends, Kenny, Carolyn, Tom, Carol, Judy and Bob. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to a member of the family for charities close to Irma's heart.
