Janice will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Janice’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Norbert Burgei and Sharon Burgei (Ellerbrock); her sons, Chad Goergens (Morgan) of Kalida and Adam Goergens of Defiance; and her granddaughter Sophie Goergens.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church.
