The passing of Richard Edward Phillips of Kensington, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Barney" Phillips and Bessie Clara Phillips (Reed); and his siblings, Howard Lee Phillips, Alice Louise "Gabby" Draper and Susan Lynn Kinsey.
He is survived by: his wife Malinda Phillips (Lutz); his daughters, Patricia Martin (Eric) and Vicki Rollins (Charles); his grandchildren, Elijah Martin, Isaac Martin and Alexis Rollins; and his siblings, Florence "Flossie" Spack, Clara Anne Ginter and Walter "Hotshot" Phillips. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Minerva First Christian Church (300 W Lincoln Wy, Minerva, OH 44657). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
