He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Kunka and Margaret Kunka (Hurst); his brother Richard Kunka; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Messersmith (Betty Carpenter Hartley), Robert Messersmith and Joseph Creary.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Kunka (Messersmith); his children, Mark (Kun-Jung Kunka), Elaine Kunka (Michelle Schisler), Victor Kunka (Cindy Hinkle) and Beth (Keith Said); his grandchildren, Brittany Barnard and Brannon Barnard; and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Kunka (Hyde), Donna Creary (Messersmith) and Gery Messersmith (Carpenter). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick Church.
