It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald L. Swauger of Kent, Ohio, who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Swauger and Nellie Swauger; his wife Margaret; his daughter-in-law Jeanette Swauger; and his siblings, Bruce, Lloyd "Leonard" Swauger and Alice Pearce.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Swauger (Laura), Russell Swauger, Michael Swauger (Patricia) and Jeff Swauger (Leslie). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bissler and Sons Funeral Home (628 W Main St, Kent, OH 44240). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in his name, to the American Cancer Society.
