With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene F. Horning (Kent, Ohio), who passed away on June 17, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Horning and Helen Horning; his wife Kate Leahy Horning; his children, Jocelyn Ayer (Toby), Jess Horning, Jillian Marshall (Andy) and Johanna Flanders (Leland); his brothers, Thom Horning (Betty Anne), Jim Horning (Linda) and Dan Horning (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Kylie, Drew Marshall, Oliver, Anna Ayer, Liam and Ella Flanders.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the University Parish Newman Center (1424 Horning Rd, Kent, OH 44240). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
