He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Laubert and Roberta Hodgeman (Gill). He is survived by: his wife Debra; his daughter Holly Bingham (Scott); his siblings, Doug of Freedom Twp, Anette Castello (Bob) of Doylestown, Jodi Alford (Billy) of Lebanon, KY, Shawna Potteiger (Bill) of Garrettsville, Jimmy (Marilyn) of Gulf, NC, Kathryn Hodgeman of Kent, OH, Carla Harris (Mike) of Windham, OH and Ron Miller (Stacy) of St. Mary's, WV; his brother-in-law Steven Sycz; his stepparents, Jim Hodgeman and Ann Laubert; and his aunts, Mary Tassone and Sandy Gill. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bissler and Sons Funeral Home (628 W Main St, Kent, OH 44240). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at the Standing Rock Cemetery (1361 N Mantua St, Kent, OH 44240).
