She was predeceased by: her parents, Sigurgeir Kristjansson and Pernilla Olsen Monsdottir; and her siblings, Sveinn Birgir Sigurgeirsson, Sigurgeir Orn Sigurgeirsson and Thuridir "Labba" Gowan.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Mitchell (TJ), Alexander Salsgiver and Alan Salsgiver (Kristy); her grandchildren, Alex (Arlene), Jessica (Rick), Bryan (Natalie), Kyla (Matt), Cole (Kaitie), Shelby (Nate) and Connor; and her sisters, Sigrun Sigurgeirsdottir, Kolbrun Anna Sigurgeirsdottir and Icelandic. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
