He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra "Betty" Floyd; his son Chancellor Floyd; his parents, Lester "Sam" Floyd and Mildred Floyd; and his brother Roscoe Floyd.
He is survived by: his children, Gaylan Floyd (Patty) and Erica Holliday (Walter); his stepdaughter Terri Boykin; his siblings, Forest "Lee" Floyd, Sharyn Floyd and Virginia "Kande" Floyd; and his pets, Luna and Kaiya. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great granddaughter and other extended family.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bissler Funeral Home & Crematory (628 W Main St, Kent, OH 44240). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM and from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
