With sadness, we share the passing of Lewis E. Meeker of Kent, Ohio. Lewis, born on October 13, 1932 in Greenville, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joanna; and his parents, Albert Meeker and Josephine Meeker. He is survived by: his sister Marie Riley of Greenville, PA; his children, Susan Kemp (Wayne) of Akron, Robert E. Meeker (Candace) of Tallmadge and James A. Meeker of Georgia; his grandchildren, Alison, Justin, Tyler, Madison and Jared; and his great grandchildren, Amelia and Lewis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mark Lutheran Church (158 North Ave, Tallmadge, OH 44278). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM and on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church, 158 North Ave., Tallmadge, OH 44278.
