He was predeceased by: his parents, Olan Sr. Booher and Lucille Booher; his siblings, Patsy (Bob Keffer), Pamela (Ted Ferringer), Billie Jean (Ron Garman) and Jack Booher; and his brother-in-law Robert Gurley.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Booher; his sons, Jonathan Booher (Annie Skapin) and Shannan Booher (Dawn); his grandchildren, Christopher, Emily (Justin), Claire, Rachel, Kyle (Alli), Abby, Clara and Owen; his great grandchild Rose; his siblings, Phil Booher (Debbie) and Darlene Gurley; and his sister-in-law Dorine Booher. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bissler & Sons Funeral Home (628 W Main St, Kent, OH 44240). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Katharine Drexel Parish at St. Patrick Church (313 N Depeyster St, Kent, OH 44240). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 1:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in his name, to the Veteran's Administration or to St. Katharine Drexel Parish.
