With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Tainer of Kenton, Ohio, who passed away on February 12, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Wing and Bernice Wing (Grindell); her daughter Debbie Knox; her grandson Christopher Knox; her siblings, Willard Wing Jr. and Alice Wing; and her brother-in-law Bob Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Eugene Knox of Kenton, Charlie Knox of Portland, Dwight Knox of Rumford, Maine and Judy Warmbrod (Doug Bridenstine) of Upper Sandusky; her sister Ethelyn Phillips of Northfield; her grandchildren, Jenna Lewis (Brandon), Megan Hites, Robby Warmbrod, Alyssa Knox, Malachi Knox, Gena Elliott, Braden Scott, William Heilman and Tara Harris; and her close friend Nina Hildreth. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews.
Memorial contributions in Carol's honor may be made to the Heartbeat of Hardin County.
