She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Bell and Luella Bell (Jacobs); and her husband James Barnes. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Varney (Jeff) of Pataskala, Jim Barnes (Kary) of Westerville and Mike Barnes of Kenton; her brother Ron Bell (Judy) of Fenton, MI; her grandchildren, Christopher Wallace, Edward Barnes and Mackenzie Barnes; and her pet Smokey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Carolyn's honor may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
