He was predeceased by: his parent Elenora Shilling; and his siblings, Weldon "Skeet" Shilling and Nora Shilling. He is survived by: his wife Phoebe Grosso (Walker); his children, Charles Grosso Jr. and Debra Fry; his granddaughters, Natashia Elsasser and Brittany Hodge; and his great grandchildren, Xavier Elsasser, Peyton Elsasser, David McMillen, Cooper McMillen, Camden Mercer and Easton Spangler.

Memorial donations in Charles' honor may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
