He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Alexander and Helen Alexander (Durr); his son Eric Alexander; and his granddaughter Jade Smith. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Grover of Waynesfield, Arthur Petitt of Kenton, Thomas Petitt (Johanna) of Kenton and Douglas Johnson (Paige) of Wapakoneta; and his siblings, DeDe Cramer of Findlay, Doris Amstutz of Cypress, Texas and John Alexander (Jacqueline) of Kenton. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Grove Cemetery Committal Building.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dennis's honor to Beauty for Ashes through the First Methodist Church in Kenton.
