He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Risner and Myrtle M. Risner; his wife Ginger; his son David Dodds; and his sister-in-law Leanna Dodds.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deanne Vermillion and Abbey Sprang; his grandchildren, Rebecca Dodds, Brittany Hites, Spencer Vermillion (Lauren), Samera Vermillion, Braden Vermillion, Jude Sprang and Finnegan Sprang; his great grandchildren, Addisyn Hites, Thayer Hites, Jaxyn Hites, Silas Lawrence and Legend Lawrence; and his siblings, Gary Dodds, Karen Wilcox (Bob) and Jacqueline Ireland.
