Gene Wedertz Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Wedertz (Kenton, Ohio), who passed away on August 8, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wedertz and Marcella Wedertz (Garman); his wife Barbara McDorman; his sister Wilma Zuchetto; his brother-in-law Karl McNeal; and his stepson Rick Morrison.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Tammie Warren; his children, Denese McClure (Scott), Dave Wedertz (Cyndi R.) and Chris Wedertz (Heather); his stepchildren, Shelly Miller and Jeff Morrison (Becky); and his sister Mary Lou McNeal. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 5 nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Gene's honor may be made to the Hardin County Fair Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice.
