He is survived by: his children, Liberty Collins, Kaitlyn Newell (Matthew), Chloe Colding, Caleb Collins and Riley Sloan; his brothers, Chris Adams (Lesa), Ben Collins, Brian Collins and Brady Collins; his granddaughter Adeline; and his close friend Tiffany Glidden. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for James may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
