He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Dray Sr. and Edna Mae White; his siblings, James Dray, Robert Shiflet, Jane Alice Dray Tripp, Rosa Lane, Emma Jean Brown, Hilda Nibert, Anna Mead and Margie Haskins; his great grandchild Alexis Johnson; and his nephews, Jim Nibert, Herman Nibert and Bobby Dray.
He is survived by: his wife Candie Dray; his children, Johnnie Dray, Teresa Karr (Jason), Wendy Dray, Dale Dray of Kenton Ohio, Scarlett Dray, Brett Erlwine of Tennessee and Sister Nancy Fields Curtis of Kentucky; and his little buddy Gage DeLong. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
