She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hatch and Pauline Hatch (Jones); her husband Robert Ward; her daughter Karen Osburn; and her sisters, Marilyn Cole and Connie Houseworth.
She is survived by: her son David Ward of Harrod; her grandchildren, David Ward II (Dawn), Christina Howe and Brandon Oates; her great grandchildren, Aidan Gatchell, Alexander Gatchell, Amya Francis, Riley Francis and Arya Ward; and her siblings, Barbara Beltz of Tennessee, Judy Cripe of Indiana, Mary Jo Hensley of West Liberty, Steve Hatch of Columbus, Bobby Hatch of Kenton and Micheal Pennington of Marion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Josephine's honor may be made to the Faith Baptist Church of Kenton.
