He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Manns; his children, Shelly Wilcox (CT), Karissa Spearman (Jeff), Jason Manns (Meg) and Jared Manns (Deb); his grandchildren, Abbigail, Jacob, Cameron, Ethan of Seth, JJ, Addi, Wade, Sam and Reagan; and his siblings, Gene, Bob, Hank, Leburn, George, Paul, Zelma, Tressie and Carolyn.

Memorial donations in Karew's honor may be made to New Hope Church.
