The passing of Nina Rhoades of Kenton, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 4, 2025 at the age of 84. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Shepherd and Elva Shepherd (Mannering); and her siblings, Ralph Shepherd of Kenton, Ruth Frater of Toledo and Sadie Patrick.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Rhoades (Bobbi) of Williamstown, Todd Rhoades (Nicole) of Sacramento and Cheryl Sorgen (Scott) of Kenton; her grandchildren, Wade Rhoades (Andi) of Lakeland, Dylan Rhoades of Sacramento and Haley Thompson (Dustin) of Kenton; her stepgrandchildren, Cody Caudill (Amanda) of Kenton and Logan Silvers (Spencer) of Kenton; her great grandchild Connor Thompson of Kenton; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Memphis of Kenton, Dalton of Kenton, Louella of Kenton, Tucker Caudill of Kenton, Alexander of Kenton and Wren Silvers of Kenton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Price McElroy Funeral Home (123 N Main St, Kenton, OH 43326). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. She helped raise many children over the years, still going strong 50 years later, until covid forced her to retire in 2020.
Memorial contributions in Nina's honor may be made to Bridge Hospice or Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
