He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce Carpenter. He is survived by: his children, Shane Shirk (Cheryle) and Jamie Shirk; his stepson Graham Price; his granddaughters, Maggie Deel and Ryann Deel; and his siblings, Penny Ropp (Jerry), Susan Munday, Lisa Burleson, Jackie Rader (Randy) and Chip Shirk (Terri).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Price McElroy Funeral Home (123 N Main St, Kenton, OH 43326). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
