With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joseph James Monter of Killbuck, Ohio, born in Alliance, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by : his first-born Angela Monter; his son-in-law Kyle Menuez; his parents, Charles Monter and Mary Frances Monter; and his siblings, Charles "Sonny" Monter and Mary Anne Boehm.

He is survived by : his wife Susan Monter (Mador); his in-laws, Barb and Dan Kendle; his pet Dee-Dee; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Marie Mador; his brother-in-law Donald Mador; and also, Shana and Pete. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alexander Funeral Home, Inc. (8612 OH-39, Millersburg, OH 44654). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Ohio's Hospice Lifecare or Holmes County Veterans Services.
