He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lester and Shirley Lester; his daughter-in-law Tammy; and his siblings, Delmer, Lonnie, William Jr. and Wanda Rains.
He is survived by: his wife Etta Mae; his grandchildren, Misty Cockerham, Jason Cockerham, Ryan Lester and David Isaac Lester; his great grandchildren, Jayla Cockerham, Arie Cockerham, Alaina Lester, Karmen Boyer and Violet Lester; and his siblings, Reverend Doyle Lester (Wanda) and Joyce West (Darrell).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mt Zion Baptist Church (100 E Broadway St, South Lebanon, OH 45065). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jellico Creek Baptist Church (9004 KY-92, Williamsburg, KY 40769).
