He is survived by : his wife Patricia Congrove (Lunsford); his daughter Linda Congrove; his grandchildren, Julie Bass (BJ), David Congrove and Bradley Congrove; his siblings, Eldon "Buck" Congrove (Joyce), Roy Congrove, Joyce Bivens and Dean Congrove; and his sister-in-law Wilma Boyd. He is also survived by family members and friends.
