It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Laverne Large of Kingston, Ohio, born in Williamsport, Ohio, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Noah Charles and Alice Mae Fellenstein (Mowery); her husband Lawrence Raymond Large; her siblings, Noah Eugene Fellenstein, Garnett Mae Taylor and Lida Kathryn Meadows; and her brothers-in-law, Evan Roy Taylor, Leroy L. Swackhammer and William A. Meadows.

She is survived by : her daughters, Karen Louise Chenault (Scott) and Janet Lynn O'Shaughnessy (Mark); her grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth Beach (Katy) and Sydney Lynn Hackney (Isaiah); her great grandchild Lainey Louise Beach; her sister Anna Lee Swackhammer; her sister-in-law Susanne Fellenstein; and her close friend Brooke Lynn McNeal. She is also survived by family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Springbank United Methodist Church (23871 OH-104, Chillicothe, OH 45601).

Memorial contributions may be made in Kay's honor to the Springbank United Methodist Church.
