She was predeceased by: her father Orville Timmons; her husband Robert E. Sams; and her siblings, Hoyt, Truit, Virgil, Kenny, Herbert Timmons, Edna Sherwood and Marguerite Larimer.
She is survived by: her children, David (Carolyn), John (Judy) and Shirley Sams; her sister Mary Lou Coey; and her grandchildren, Darren Bowen (Jan), David Sams (Denise), Joe Bowen (Tara), Spencer Sams, Scott Bowen (Crystal), Sean Sams (Sarina), Erin Dixon (Wayne), Jordan Sams, Swayer Sams, Drew Sams, Elaine Sams and Rachel Speece (Chris). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, 10 great- great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Phoebe's honor to the Colerain United Methodist Church, in care of Kellie DeLong, 993 Oak Lane, Kingston, OH 45644.
