She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie Mae and Edwin Kenneth Thompson; her husband Dr. Aubrey Leighton Sparks; and her nephew Thomas Cornell. She is survived by: her sister Chloe Cornell (Bill); and her nephews, Kenneth Cornell (Pamela), Robert Cornell and David Cornell.
