He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph McKinley and Lavon McKinley (Simons). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn J. McKinley (Hall); his daughters, Vicki Jacobs (Gary) of Providence, RI, Terri Astolfi of Cortland, OH and Christy Ferry of Kinsman, OH; his sister Maxine Colwell of Taft, CA; his grandchildren, Ashley Ferry, Cody Ferry, Seth Ferry and Alexis Ferry; and his great grandchild Maddox Ferry.
