He was predeceased by: his parents, Matrona Athlene Job-Hecker (Sutton) and Warren Clark Hecker; his wife Marian Gail Shoff; his sisters, Pauline Totten and Margaret Arnold; and his stepsisters, Alice Rape, Mary Filer and Helen McCormick.

He is survived by: his children, Pamela A. Hecker (Skip King) of Howland, Mark Hecker (Patty) of Farmdale and Eric Hecker (Kim Miller) of Kinsman, Ohio.
