He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Sarah (née Phillips) Hill; daughter: Sabrina Bailey (John); son (implied/survived by): Mitchell Curtiss; grandchildren: Brayden Bailey and Paisley Curtiss; step-grandchildren: Marty and Owen Bailey; sister: Sharon Thurman; and several siblings.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hempel Funeral Home (373 Cleveland Ave, Amherst, OH 44001). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at the Camden Township Cemetery (49840 US-20, Oberlin, OH 44074).
