Robert W. Hickman Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Robert W. Hickman (Kirkersville, Ohio). Robert, born on January 14, 1925, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hickman and Grace Hickman (Collins) of Alexandria, Ohio.; his wife Sarah; and his sons, Roger Drumn and Robert Cadegan.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Cadegan (Sharon) of Pembrooke Pines, Florida, Patti Penny (Jim) of Lady Lakes and Linda Haley (Mike) of Groveport, Ohio; his daughter-in-law Diane Cadegan of Reynoldsburg Ohio; his nephew Larry Hickman (Leha); and his friends, Janet Piper, Steve Beatty, Sam Minturn, John Williams, Tom Bonniet and John Bertram. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kirkersville (285 E Main St, Kirkersville, OH 43033). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Alexandria Museum in Alexandria, Ohio; Motts Military Museum in Groveport Ohio or Gentiva Hospice, whom took excellent care of Robert, or the WWII Museum.
