He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Bazell and Alma Wilds (Pemberton); his son Bobby Joe Bazell; his brothers, Timothy, Randell, Larry and James Schwab; and his daughter-in-law Renee Bazell.

He is survived by : his wife JoAnn Bazell (Kelsey); his daughters, Cathy Martin (Larry) of Coal Grove and Pamela Warwick (Luke) of Ashland, Kentucky.; and his siblings, Frank Bazell (Dorothy) of Carroll, Jeff Bazell of Breman, Mike Bazell (Janet) of Logan, Tony Schwab (Lori) of Goshen, Donna Wilds of Ironton and Anita Schwab of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
