He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Layne Bailey and Ernest Bailey; his grandson Brenden Lee Bailey; his stepgrandson Nicholas Chaise Kuehne; and his stepson Adam Chaise Kuehne.

He is survived by: his significant other Karen McDonie Bailey; his son Jeremy Bailey (Julie); his stepsons, Johnathon Kuehne (Ellen) of Ironton and Stephen Kuehne (Elizabeth) of Jeffersonville, KY.; his grandchildren, Lynzi Bailey, Brooklyn Bailey, Ivy Kuehne and Samuel Kuehne; and his siblings, Bill Bailey, Frank Bailey of Ironton, Denny Bailey (Lisa) of Orlando, FL, Hilda Jenkins of Ironton, OH, Marge Holbrook (LeRoy) of Ironton, OH, Daisy Holbrook of Ironton, OH and Cheryl Bailey of Ironton, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
