She is survived by: her husband David Lee Sturgell; her children, Christina Hicks (Robert), Matthew Sturgell (Megan) and Ryan Sturgell; her grandchildren, Thomas Barnhouse, Jacob Barnhouse, Mason Sturgell, Ava Sturgell and Zoie Schupp; her siblings, Ken Towne (Mary), Dennis Towne and Susan Watson; Elissa Schupp. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hempel Funeral Home (373 Cleveland Ave, Amherst, OH 44001). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:30 AM.
