He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Theresa Bodine; and his children, Ron Stevens, Cindy Hummell, Larry Stevens and Susan Huskey.

He is survived by: his children, Ed Stevens (Kathy), Ted Stevens (Marty) and Mary Huebbe (Tobious). He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, forty-six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
