It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Anne Plato of Lakeside Marblehead, Ohio, born in Elyria, Ohio, who passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles B. Plato; her parents, James Prochazka and Jacqueyn Prochazka; and her nephews, Nicholas Mayfield and Christian Prochazka.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Kimberly Plato (Chris Merkle); her siblings, Jeanie Prochazka, Jeffrey Prochazka (Gen) and Joseph Prochazka; her stepgrandson Josh Merkle (Molly); her stepgreat-grandsons, Jamie and Cam Merkle; her nephew James Mayfield; her nieces, Lillian Prochazka and Melody Ashley (Nate); her sister-in-law Terri Prochazka (Block); and her pet Izzy.
