She was predeceased by: her parents, Finace Higgins and Edith Barton Higgins. She is survived by: her husband Donald Freels, Sr.; her children, Edith Opitz (Bryan) of Palatine, IL and Donald W. Freels, Jr. (Ann) of Laingesburg, MI; and her grandchildren, Bryan Opitz, Brett Opitz, Brooke Opitz, Grace Freels, Christopher Freels and Matthew Freels.
