Richard Elliott Wildermuth Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Richard Elliott Wildermuth (Lakeview, Ohio). Richard, born on April 23, 1948, passed away on August 30, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Elliott Wildermuth to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Wildermuth and Leona Wildermuth (Elliott); and his brother Dale Wildermuth. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Wildermuth (Steenrod); his children, Andy Wildermuth and Kim Wildermuth (Danny Dawson); his grandchildren, Dylan Lumpkin, Lauren Lumpkin and Tristan Dawson; and his siblings, Dan Wildermuth of Lewistown, Don Wildermuth of Tipp City and Deanna Apgar of Sidney. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shoffstall Funeral Home (205 S Main St, Lakeview, OH 43331). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
