He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence W. Sr. Carlson and Grace Carlson (Alcorn); and his brother Larry Carlson, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Boni Laninfa (Bell); his children, Katrina Brun (Matt) of Tipp City, OH, Amy Carlson (Steve Suverly) of Oregon and Paxton Carlson of New York; his grandchildren, Kiera (Kaz Collins), Ethan Brun, Lux Gustavsen, Lavorra Suverly and Sheridan Suverly; his siblings, Marge Fallen of Hazen Green, KY, Dorothy Prater (Del) of Dayton, Tonja "Jean" Booher of Dayton, Richard "Scott" Carlson (Michelle) of Dayton, Floyd "Butch" Carlson (Connie) of Indian Lake and Marilyn "Sue" Carlson of Marysville, OH; and his sister-in-law Kathy Carlson of Indian Lake. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lake (11065 Co Rd 293, Lakeview, OH 43331).
