He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Kennedy and Freda M. Kennedy Neal (Shaw); his wife Sandra S. Kennedy (Army); his stepfather Bill Neal; his brothers, Bill "Bid" Neal and Ron Neal; and his sister-in-law Eve Kennedy.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Kennedy (Lori) of Lima, Craig Kennedy (Sallie) of Lima, Christina Baker (Adam) of Lima, Tamara Ebbeskotte (Neil) of Lima, Bryan Kennedy (Sarah) of Peoria, AZ and Kevin Kennedy (Jodi) of Harrod, OH; and his siblings, Mike Kennedy of Lewistown, OH, Alice Stahler (Chris) of DeGraff, OH and Patti Neal Miller (Scott Hurst) of Lakeview. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Huntsville Cemetery (3691 County Rd 37, Huntsville, OH 43324).
