As Ruth departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ruth leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hamer Smith and Lydia Smith (Long); and her son David. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Gloyeske (Ken) of Indian Lake and Diane Gillespie (Jon) of Indian Lake; her daughter-in-law Cathy Beard of Wapakoneta; and her sisters-in-law, Yvonne Smith and Carolyn Daniel (Danny). She is also survived by Fourteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
