He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gillespie and Eleanor Gillespie (Winzrieth); his brother Vincent Gillespie; and his grandson Nolan Gillespie. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sons, Robert Gillespie (Melissa) and John Gillespie (Andrea); and his grandchildren, AnnMarie, Flynn and Arden. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews; and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.
