Gerald V. Brown Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald V. Brown of Lakewood, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 21, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald D. Brown and Orene Brown. He is survived by: his wife Nancy E. Jones; his daughters, Pamela Maloney (Simon Dugal) and Juliane Porter (James Porter); his sister Priscilla Lee; his nieces and nephews, Celene, Dr. Buckley Wilford (Nicole) and Dr. Rex Wilford (Emily); his great-nieces, Annabelle, Chloe and Ella; and his great-nephew Ben.
In recognition of his lifetime contributions to scientific research in superconducting, Gerald was honored by the Royal Society in Oxford, England.
