He was predeceased by : his son Mark (Donna). He is survived by : his wife Mary (Wegas); his children, Kathleen Jerge (Edward), Patrick William III (Christine) and Thomas; his grandchildren, Patrick William IV (Jenna), Meghan Bova (Tony), MaryGrace, Joseph, James (Rachel), Clayton, Jack, Rain, Christian and Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Lena, Celine, Madison and Cameron.

Over the course of his life he donated over 20 gallons of blood to the American Red Cross.
