It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Batchelor Sr. (Lancaster, Ohio), born in Sharpsburg, North Carolina, who passed away on March 21, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Octavius Tallmadge Batchelor and Lucinda Stallings Batchelor; and his siblings, Mildred McKenzie, Herman, Conway, Douglas and O. T. Batchelor.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys P. Batchelor; his children, Dr. Allison J. Batchelor (Thomas Baker) of Athens and Andrew J. Batchelor, Jr. (Elisa); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Christopher Baker, Courtney and Alyssa Batchelor; and his brother Bruce Batchelor of Tarboro, N. C.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
