She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Helene Sifford and William Sifford of Lancaster, Ohio.; her children, David Swartz (Susan Sikora), Aaron Swartz (Jeffrey Burns) and Rebecca Kaufman (Barry); and her husband Norman R. Swartz of Boston. She was also cherished by six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the First United Methodist Church building fund or the Salvation Army.
