She was predeceased by: her friend William W. Young; and her parents, John Dayton Sr. and Mary Dayton (Kemmerer). She is survived by: her children, Judy Swartz (Jerry Herlihy), Sam Beam (Shelia), Rod Beam (Diana Joseph) and Rick Beam (Amy).
