With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J. James in Lancaster, Ohio, born in Carroll, Ohio, who passed away on December 4, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Sherrick and Ina Ruth Sherrick; her husband Carl David James; her son-in-law Edwin Beery; her brother Carlton; her sister-in-law Madge Sherrick; her great grandchild Hope Grace Beery; and her in-laws, John and Nettie James.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Teri Craiglow (Jeff), Aaron Beery (Stephanie) and Brian Beery (Lorrie); her great grandchildren, Hannah Runyon (Chase), Alexis, Aidan Craiglow, Noah, Brice Beery, Aubree, William and Emma Beery; her great great grandchildren, Brentlee and Bryar Runyon; and her nephew Dana Sherrick. She is also survived by her family and friends.
Donations can be made in her name to First English Lutheran Church.
